OSCOO Car Air Purifier, Ionizer & USB Charger (Rose Gold)

This OSCOO Car Air Purifier Ionizer & USB Charger comes in a gift-worthy white box. I would suggest it for anyone on your list, but those who spend a good deal of time traveling need this gadget. Likewise, anyone who has a smoker in there or who has asthma or any breathing condition. There is a warranty card enclosed, as Oscoo offers a limited one-year guarantee. Besides that, there is a little pamphlet (it is plug and play, after all).

Although I love it for its performance, it does not escape me that it is simply gorgeous. I bought it in Rose Gold. I have been using this car ionizer for a month now. It has been working wonderfully. You know it is working as there is a blue light that glows when you plug it in. The light is pleasant and not terribly blinding, which is important in a vehicle.

Negative ions help ease stress as well as take care of smells. They can lessen the symptoms of asthma and other conditions.

It still seems a bit like magic to me, but if you have spent any time near the ocean, you might remember how it made you feel. I have only had the experience a few times. Those are some of my all-time favorite memories. There was just such a feeling of well-being.

As for this technology, I knew it seriously worked years ago when I got a “new to me” vehicle. There was a nondescript stale odor in the car. The previous owner had noticed, as there were umpteen “pine tree type” air fresheners scattered around the vehicle. Nearly resigned to the situation, I researched possible solutions and took a chance when I bought one. As it turned out, mere days after plugging it in, my olfactory sense picked up– nothing!

As glad as I was that the ionizer took care of the problem of the odor in the car, I admit wishing that it doubled as a charger. Whenever my family needed to plug in a phone or tablet, it meant I needed to swap one out with my purifier. Now that we have this model, the charger capability is there for us anytime. The charging is fast, with its Quick Charge 3.0 technology. My iPhone 5S takes about an hour for a full charge.

Beyond the dual tasks of ionizing and charging, it can save lives. Seriously, it has a safety hammer tool that can be used to break out a window in case of an emergency. Buying something useful like this charger that has this added benefit makes more sense than getting a gadget having a single purpose (which no one hopes to use).

Naturally, the more you are in the vehicle, the more you will appreciate the difference and reap the benefits from this device. My late husband used to drive trucks. If he were still doing so today, I would have gotten him this charger so that he could keep in touch with us, enjoy a healthier environment (important especially in such close quarters), and could protect himself (or others) in an emergency. On second thought, I would not have gotten the same one. He would have preferred the other colors more. :-

Heiyo Stylus Fine Point Pen for Capacitive Touch Screen Devices – Silver

This Heiyo Stylus Fine Point Rechargeable Pen works well on my daughter’s Fire & and my Fire 8. The pen is the exact size of a new lead pencil. This writing device is only slightly heavier than the regular pencil. It is surprisingly lightweight for the look of it. It is comfortable to hold and has a balanced feel to it.

The pen comes in a box with a charging adapter and a diagram of the parts along with the shortest user manual I have ever seen. A short manual is enough here, as there is nothing too problematic about the pen operation. To start the pen, you press the start button at the top of the unit. A blue light flashes three times across the LED strip to show that it is on. After that activation, no other sign indicates whether the pen is on. Thankfully the pen will shut itself off after two-three minutes, so its charge is not worn down. You never have to worry about turning it off with this power-saving feature built-in.

The pen is compatible with iPads, iPhones, iPods, Kindles, Samsung Galaxy phones, tablets and touchscreen laptops; essentially anything that has a capacitive touch screen. I have noticed no lag when using this on my Kindle. I use it for routine tapping here and there, for simple games, and for writing lists, and feel it is responsive enough overall. There was a slight learning curve for me, as nearly all of my writing is on a computer or electronic device. Seeing my handwriting at first was a bit of a fright, but the longer I use it, the better it looks again.

The stylus tip has not scratched or in any way harmed my devices, which is always a concern as they are costly to replace. I am hoping my daughter will try some art with this pen and test it out with one of her apps. Although a thin fiber fine tip [2.2mm], I use extra-fine generally. When I am making lists or writing in a word processing program or app, I adjust the chosen tip to the finest one available so that I am happier with the control over the lines and with the finished product. I wish that replacing tips was possible with the Heiyo, but it is not at this time.

To charge the stylus, just remove the end cap to reveal the Micro USB underneath. Fit the adapter over the Micro USB and plug into a charging port. The LED indicator will glow with a reddish hue. It is simple and practically fool-proof to use and keep charged for the next time.

The Heiyo Stylus comes with an 18-month warranty and customer service should you ever need it.
